A Pune snack brand, purely online

Svamiksh makes vacuum-cooked vegetable chips, traditional Maharashtrian snacks, wood-pressed oils, raw honey and millets in small batches in Pune, with no preservatives. Orders came through WhatsApp and word of mouth, and there was nowhere to send a curious customer. We designed and built its website: a deep-green, photography-led single page that explains the range by category, shows the products and the process, plays the brand's Instagram reels, and sends shoppers straight to the WhatsApp Business catalogue.

Preservatives, and five brand promises made explicit: authentic recipes, vacuum-cooked technology, wood-pressed oils, small batches.
The challenge

A product people loved, with no place to discover it.

Svamiksh had the hard part done: chips that are vacuum-cooked instead of deep-fried, oils pressed on wooden ghanis, honey and millets sourced with care, and customers in Pune who reordered every week. But the brand existed only as a WhatsApp number and an Instagram account. New customers had to take a friend's word for it.

The brief was a site that would do the introduction: explain what makes the products different, show the full range by category, let the reels and the reviews do the persuading, and hand the shopper to WhatsApp to order without building a checkout the business did not yet need.

Our approach

How we got there.

Design to launch, 2025, design + engineering: here is how the time was spent.

01

Discover

Sessions with the founders on how orders actually happen: a reel or a recommendation, a WhatsApp message, a repeat order. The site was shaped around that loop rather than around a cart.

02

Design & prototype

A deep-green and mustard system built on the packaging: a three-slide hero for honey, chips and oils, circular category icons, product cards with the pack shots, and leaf-marked promise tiles, tested as clickable mockups.

03

Build & test

A fast Next.js single page: hero, category and product carousels, Why Choose Us, a Watch and Shop rail of Instagram reels with ratings, bestsellers, testimonials, a blog teaser and a footer with review, social and policy links, checked on every phone size the brand's customers use.

04

Launch & optimise

Live at svamiksh.in with WhatsApp click-to-chat, per-product catalogue deep links and a Google review call to action, then the product order and reel selection tuned from what visitors tapped.

The solution

Browse the range, watch it made, order on WhatsApp.

Visitors land on a rotating hero for honey, okra chips and wood-pressed oils, pick a category, swipe through pack shots of sesame oil, safflower oil, kothimbir vadi, foxtail millet, fennel honey and rock salt, read the five promises, watch the reels, see what Pune families say, and tap through to the WhatsApp catalogue to order. A floating WhatsApp button follows them the whole way.

Categories and the product carousel
Categories and the product carousel

Categories & products

Six categories with custom icons and a product carousel of studio pack shots, each card linking to that product's WhatsApp Business catalogue page.

Watch and Shop

Five Instagram reels, from Bhajni Chakli to how wood-pressed oil is extracted, each with the featured product and its 4.5-star rating alongside.

Trust

A Why Choose Us band of five promises, three dated customer reviews, a Google review link and the Made-in-Pune footer.

Content

A blog teaser on why to switch to okra chips, an offers banner ready for promotions, and policy, terms and FAQ pages.

Best vacuum fried chips in Pune! Discovered Svamiksh through a friend and now I'm hooked! Their vacuum fried bhindi chips are absolutely delicious and so much healthier than regular chips. Love that they use traditional methods with wood pressed oil.
